The College of Education at the Capital University, are on the path to quality

and excellence.

The contemporary world is witnessing rapid transformations in various fields, which has compelled educational systems to keep pace with these changes by adopting modern concepts that contribute to improving the quality of their outputs. Quality assurance and academic accreditation are at the forefront of these concepts, as they are two fundamental pillars for developing institutional performance and achieving educational excellence.

Quality assurance and accreditation represent a strategic approach to educational reform and development, given their active role in improving institutional performance, raising the level of educational outcomes, and enhancing alignment with the requirements of sustainable development and labor market needs. They also reflect an integrated system of policies, procedures, and organized processes aimed at ensuring the achievement of specific standards of efficiency and effectiveness across all elements of the educational process.

The objectives of implementing quality assurance and accreditation systems are: improving the quality of the educational process, promoting excellence and competitiveness among educational institutions, building community confidence in educational outcomes, meeting the requirements of employers, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement and institutional development.

The application of these systems also contributes to achieving unified academic standards, raising the efficiency of faculty members, improving the level of graduates, enhancing opportunities for international academic cooperation, as well as supporting decision-making based on objective data and indicators.

The successful implementation of quality requires the availability of a set of basic components, most notably: the support of senior leadership, the qualification and training of human resources, the provision of necessary resources, the dissemination of a culture of quality within the institution, in addition to the existence of an effective information system that supports monitoring and evaluation processes.

On the other hand, the success of implementing quality and accreditation is linked to the existence of a supportive regulatory environment and an institutional culture based on continuous improvement, which is consistent with the vision and goals of the College of Education at the Capital University, which are: preparing a teacher who is scientifically and professionally qualified, improving the quality of teacher preparation programs, achieving integration between theoretical and applied aspects, meeting the needs of the educational labor market, developing thinking and creativity skills among student teachers, in addition to supporting sustainable professional development, and achieving excellence and competitiveness at the local and regional levels.

Based on this, the college is moving steadily towards establishing a culture of quality, as a strategic choice and an institutional approach that reflects the thinking of its leadership and members, and confirms its commitment to achieving excellence and leadership in the field of teacher preparation.

The Emergence of Unity
