It started with Training Program No. 47 for Preparing University Teachers, held from January 8 to 11, 2026.

The program covered key topics:

A Memorandum of Understanding was successfully signed with Tamayoz for Development, Training, and Consultancy, a leading company in digital educational content.

The signing took place on Tuesday, February 17.

This collaboration aims to strengthen academic and professional integration.

The collaboration between the Faculty of Education, represented by the Educational Technology Department, and Tamayoz aims to:

• Launch specialized courses and programs to develop students’ technical and professional skills
• Organize joint workshops and scientific conferences to exchange expertise
• Provide field training opportunities for fourth-year students at the company’s headquarters to gain hands-on experience in digital design and production within a professional work environment

The agreement was coordinated in the presence of Prof. Mona Abu Hashema, Vice Dean, and Prof. Iman Zaghloul, Head of the Department.

It aims to:

●    Provide field training opportunities for fourth-year students at the company’s headquarters

Developing University Staff and Artificial Intelligence
 The center concluded Training Program No. 47 for Preparing University Teachers.

The program covered modern topics such as:

●    Teaching in the digital age

The department also kept pace with technological advancements through a specialized workshop delivered by researcher Badr Alaa on “Copilot” and its design features.

The workshop targeted faculty members and postgraduate students to enhance the use of artificial intelligence in education.

Researcher Dina Raafat Mohamed earned a Master’s degree for her study on “Review Methods in Interactive Video,” under the supervision of Prof. Walid Youssef and Prof. Abu Bakr Ghannam.

A PhD dissertation by researcher Ahmed Kamel Abdel Gid was also discussed.

The study explored “Brainwave-Based E-Learning Patterns” and was chaired by Prof. Mohamed Ibrahim El-Desouki.

These activities confirm the department’s role in leading digital transformation and preparing graduates who can compete in a professional work environment.

 The defense was held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at Prof. Abdel Hay Obaid Hall, Complex of Arts and Culture, Helwan University.

The committee praised the topic of the thesis and the researcher’s effort in applying modern digital education technologies.

 Prof. Hossam Hamdy, Dean of the Faculty, emphasized the importance of community engagement in preparing qualified teachers who connect university education with societal needs.

●    The faculty was represented by Prof. Mona Sameh Abu Hashema, Vice Dean for Community Service.

●    Dr. Mariham Hany El-Sanbawy, Lecturer of Educational Technology and Marketing Committee Coordinator, also participated in the meeting.

●    The session was opened by Prof. Amira Tawadros, Professor of Economics and Member of the Senate, who efficiently led the workshops in alignment with Egypt Vision 2030.
